Opened at Easter 2017, we’re now offering a selection of light snacks, ice creams and drinks for passing walkers, cyclists and visitors making their way to Lud’s Church, the Roaches, the Dane Valley and surrounding woodlands.
We occupy an enviable position overlooking the River Dane and our riverside café is a great place to stop, relax and savour the beautiful atmosphere.
The cafe is a takeaway style counter with benches for seating & offers a selection of snacks including Staffordshire oatcakes, Proper Cornish pasties, a selection of cakes including scones with strawberry jam & real Cornish clotted cream. We also have a selection of ice creams, packaged snacks & confectionery. Of course we’ve got drinks too. our coffee is made using freshly ground beans, from espresso to cappuccino & everything in-between, we’ve also got hot chocolate & a selection of teas. We’re not short of cold drinks either offering a selection of botanically brewed non-alcoholic beverages from Fentimens along with kid friendly options & our local Buxton spring bottled water.
